ARAS Workshop 2: Advanced Responder Workshop - What Service Providers should know

Are your staff ready to respond to elder abuse?

Last updated: 27 January 2026

Providing safe, respectful, and abuse-free care is a core responsibility of every aged care service.

The Responding to Elder Abuse workshop is a specialised, practice-focused session designed to strengthen your organisation's capacity to confidently identify, assess, and respond to elder abuse.

This workshop is specifically for service providers who have previously completed the Train the Trainer workshop and are responsible for responding to abuse concerns involving older people.

Through real-world scenarios and guided discussion, participants will build practical skills to support ethical decision-making, collaborative responses, and trauma-informed practice aligned with sector expectations and regulatory standards.
