Ipswich police host Beyond Age for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2025

Join the Queensland Police Service in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day by attending the Beyond Age event.

Elder abuse is often hidden away. But service providers working with Queensland Police and other non-government organisations are raising awareness by holding events and talking about it.

This helps our community recognise the signs of elder abuse through information calling out the behaviour of those committing it.

The Qld Parliament’s Education, Arts and Communities Committee will host a public hearing immediately following the main event from 1pm – 3pm.
