As part of the Older People's Rights Service (OPRS) week-long series, "Prepare, Plan and Prevent against Elder Abuse" for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) education, we would like to invite you to: Preventing Financial Elder Abuse and Avoiding Scams

Financial abuse is one of the most common forms of elder abuse, often committed by those closest to you.

This peer-led session will empower older people to understand their financial rights, recognise the warning signs of abuse, and take steps to protect themselves. Learn how to safeguard your assets, and gain knowledge on the topic. 

Delivered by a peer educator, this session provides practical insights in a safe and supportive environment.

10-11am - Presentation 

11-11.30am – Light refreshments, information stalls and OPRS team and volunteers mingle and answers questions.
