#InHerShoes is a research, narrative, and awareness-raising project documenting the responses to older women (and their families) who report sexual assault.
It reveals the experience from the older woman’s perspective (or family members on their behalf).
In other words, it invites us to "step into her shoes".
This approach has been shown to help build empathy and understanding about the experiences of others.
