The Aged Crime Prevention Officers (ACPOs)are police officers who assist their Police Area Commands and Police Districts in preventing and responding to the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable people who may be ageing, with disability or who are homeless.
ACPOs develop and implement crime prevention strategies in partnership with local police, stakeholders and community groups to ensure timely and appropriate support is accessible to vulnerable people.
