Aged Care Assessment Team TAS
If you’d like to apply for a Home Care Package and you live in Tasmania, you’ll need an Aged Care Assessment (ACAT) with this team from My Aged Care.
To find out if you are eligible for a Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 government funded Home Care Package, you will need what is called an Aged Care Assessment (ACAT). The Tasmanian Aged Care Assessment Team will come to you, discuss your current situation and determine if a Home Care Package would be suitable and at what level. The assessments are free.
There are five simple steps you can follow to determine your eligibility and access a Home Care Package:
