Dr Lukasz Kryzowski
Lukasz is a Vice Chancellor’s Research Fellow, within the School of Arts and Humanities at Edith Cowan University. He specialises in migration, LGBTIQA+ studies, and intergenerational relations, bridging research with policy development and community impact. As an applied sociologist, Lukasz's work bridges research and real-world application, translating complex social dynamics into tangible community benefits. Notably, he launched and leads the Rainbow Migrants initiative and co-designed the SPARK app, a social technology supporting vulnerable communities through acts of kindness. As a board member of GLBTI Rights in Ageing Inc. (GRAI) and an active participant in several advocacy and advisory roles—including LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, the Victims of Crime Reference Group (WA Department of Justice), and the WA LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Strategy Reference Group—Lukasz shapes policy and fosters inclusive environments for those with multiple marginal identities.
