Larisa Kapur

Larisa Kapur is an experienced Senior Associate and Accredited Aged Care Professional who practices in Wills & Estates. Larisa has a particular affinity with the firm’s older and infirmed clients. She has always had an interest in helping the elderly with estate planning as well as helping them transition to aged care. Her goal is to make the legal process as simple as possible for clients, by offering them advice and support and making sure they understand each decision throughout their legal journey. She was drawn to a career in law after seeing the experiences of her family members who after migrating to Australia struggled to navigate seemingly simple legal processes due to their limited English. As a teenager she became aware that too many people in her migrant community were winding up with terrible results because they hadn’t understood a legal process or signed papers the right way. Too often, their anxiety around the legal system meant they avoided lawyers or froze up around them – with the knock-on effect that they weren’t getting the help they required.
