Bendigo council's sacking of 86yo school crossing supervisor was found to be unfair.

The Fair Work Commission has ruled a Central Victorian council should not have sacked its 86-year-old school crossing supervisor.

Mavis Rofe challenged the City of Greater Bendigo over a disputed medical report about a knee injury.

Ms Rofe won her legal battle but said the experience had left a bitter taste in her mouth.
