OPAN and COTA Australia, in partnership with 10 other older people and carer organisations, have outlined the issues in Our Key Issues Paper.

In it, they also suggest solutions older people, their families, and anyone with an interest in aged care might like to discuss during the consultation period for the exposure draft, which runs until 16 February 2024.

The new rights-based  Act, which comes into effect on 1 July 2024, will inform the future of aged care in this country.

It’s vital to have your say.
