Evolving from the National LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care Conference established by Val's (LaTrobe University), Ageing in Difference 26 brings together LGBTI+ people, aged care providers, policymakers, researchers & advocates to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships & shape inclusive systems of care.
A hybrid event 10 - 11 June 2026 - Canberra & online, the conference will explore ageing well, highlighting experiences, strengths & aspirations of older LGBTI+ people.
It will include inclusive service design, workforce capability, policy reform, community connection & the social & structural factors that influence ageing.
