Aged care worker to front court over allegedly defrauding elderly residents

An aged care worker in south-east Queensland has been charged with 113 offences over allegedly defrauding elderly people in her care.

The 23-year-old woman allegedly obtained bank details from four elderly victims at an aged care centre in Rothwell, south of Brisbane, where she worked and used them to make personal purchases between last October and June.

She has been charged with 110 counts of fraud and one count each of enter dwelling with intent, enter dwelling and obtaining identification information.
