The WA Government has just launched the ‘Coercion Hurts’ campaign to raise awareness about coercive control.

This campaign focuses on helping people understand that family and domestic violence isn’t just physical - it can be emotional, psychological, and controlling.

While the campaign is aimed at men aged 25-54, and highlights the subtle forms of abuse that many people don’t immediately recognise, Advocare WA points out that older people fall victim to its influence too.
