Andrew Rogers wants fellow LGBTQIA+ people to embrace in-home aged care services with full confidence, knowing their rights are protected by law.
He shares his message as the incoming person-centred, rights-based Aged Care Act is due to start, albeit delayed from its original July 1 kick-off, in November.
"Don't be afraid to disclose [your identity] and say... find me services who understand and are supportive," he said.
