At COTA Australia, our advocacy on aged care reform often gets the most coverage, but we care about a far broader range of issues too. We stand up for disadvantaged older Australians in many different circumstances and policy areas.
One that we are working on at the moment is ageism in the workforce. Many older Australians (over 50) would like to work more. Others find the attitudes in their workplaces difficult. Others enjoy working less, or not at all.
We are doing a survey about older people’s experiences, and we would appreciate hearing about your experience of working (or not) and what changes would make things better.
