After applying for a development permit and other red tape, COTA NT says it hopes to construct rental units specifically for seniors on a low income or a pension. It says the critical shortage of affordable housing continues to distress senior Territorians with limited means.
It says NT has a shortfall of 7,000 dwellings, so it’s no wonder Territorians are struggling to find affordable rental accommodation.
