A new $21.5 million Federal Government investment hopes to change that by funding more than 1,000 scholarships for aged care workers and nurses.

The program is designed to both attract new workers and help existing staff upskill in areas like dementia care, palliative care, infection control, and clinical leadership.

Minister for Aged Care and Seniors, Sam Rae, said investing in the workforce was essential to ensure families can rely on safe and consistent care.
