In response to the negative sentiment, treatment, and commentary around older Australians that continues to fuel ageist stereotypes, National Seniors Australia (NSA) has launched its #enough campaign.

Designed to positively change the narrative around older Australians, the campaign also seeks to restore inspiration, aspiration, and the principle of “a fair go”.

NSA chief executive officer, Chris Grice, said older Australians are sick and tired of being targeted and blamed for many of today’s problems that continue to drive intergenerational division and discussions of intergenerational inequity.

“Older Australians have worked hard, saved, and sacrificed for themselves and their families, and have supported their communities through volunteering and mentoring,” Mr Grice said.
