This dynamic research program brings together leading inter-disciplinary researchers of migration, settlement, social justice, inclusivity, and transnationalism with a focus on applied social care to foster a world-leading and distinctive research agenda.
This PhD will be conducted as a component of the Australian Research Council funded DECRA study 'Elder abuse and migration: Addressing the abuse of older adults to support safer ageing in multicultural Australia'.
Your project will relate to one or more community language groups in Australia. It will deliver new knowledge about how older adult abuse is understood, and how it manifests in Australian, homeland, and transnational contexts.
Working with VC Research Fellow and ARC DECRA Fellow Dr Catriona Stevens and the team, you will make an important contribution to a national study.
