Researchers develop injection to replace multiple Parkinson's meds

Scientists from the University of South Australia have developed a long-acting injection aimed at simplifying treatment for people living with Parkinson's disease.

Researchers hope the weekly treatment could one day replace the need for multiple daily oral medications, but first it will need to go through animal testing and clinical trials.

The scientists hope their findings could eventually open up more possibilities for treating other chronic diseases.
