Residents at the Respect not-for-profit aged care home in Ulverstone, Tasmania, were treated to a glamorous photoshoot thanks to local volunteers Maddie Paige and Trinady Webb, who had made a call out on social media to collaborate on the project.
For many of the women it was their first professional photo since their wedding day.
Ms Paige said it was a reminder that “we are all just girls, living our lives for the first time.”
“Girls who laugh, confide and nurture, with stories to tell and memories to share. From daughters to mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers, at any age we are beautiful, we are strong, we are women,” she said.
