Volunteer community transport cuts back social outings for aged care clients

Community transport providers say increased admin costs linked to the federal government's aged care reforms mean they have to scale back their services.

Transport provider SunAssist, which operates in Victoria's north-west and NSW's south-west, says from this month it can no longer offer clients transport to social outings.

The sector is calling for more support from the federal government.
