This Action Plan is the third in a series of two-year plans supporting the Ageing Well in NSW: Seniors Strategy 2021–2031.
It outlines the wide range of services, supports and initiatives provided by the NSW Government in partnership with the community to promote the health and wellbeing of older people.
The actions in the Plan reflect the diversity of older people across the State and the NSW Government’s emphasis on reaching marginalised communities, including:
First Nations peoples aged 50 years and over
people from multicultural communities
lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or
queer individuals
people living with disability, dementia, chronic
disease or mental illness
carers
those living in rural and remote areas
