COTA Queensland provided a thought-provoking webinar ‘Our Future Health’ on Tuesday 26th October 2021.
The webinar had some great speakers who gave some powerful insights around Policy challenges in the decade of healthy ageing!
Speakers included:
Shara Evans – One of the World’s Top 50 Female Futurists, brought some insights around what the future holds for us in regards to technology and health.
Dr Jane Barratt - Secretary General, International Federation on Ageing, discussed the work of IFA and talked about what the decade is all about from an international perspective, and why it is important for Queenslanders.
Craig Crawford MP - Minister for Seniors and Disability Services and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, provided some insights about what the Queensland Government is doing for Seniors in the future.
Mark Tucker-Evans – CE of COTA Queensland, informed us on how COTA Queensland is going to respond and what it all means to people in Queensland.
