Advocare Inc

Advocare is an independent, community-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports and protects the rights of older people in Western Australia through advocacy, information and education.

We work to enable older people to make informed choices that best suit them. We assist older people to understand their rights, resolve any issues with aged and home care service provision, and access the right supports and protections available to them. We also provide free, confidential information and support to older people who are at risk of, or experiencing elder abuse.

We work collaboratively and systemically to provide an independent voice for older people. By raising public and sector awareness and understanding of older people’s rights we aim to inform service delivery and influence practice to continually improve services and create better outcomes for older people.

Advocare offers a free, engaging state-wide education program, delivered by our team of experienced advocates, to raise awareness about the rights of older people and elder abuse awareness and prevention.
