Inspector Bernie Quinlan

Inspector Bernie Quinlan is the Manager of the Vulnerable Persons Group within the Queensland Police Service (QPS). His team leads the Service’s strategic responses to mental health, disability, and elder abuse. With more than 28 years of policing experience across metropolitan, rural, and remote Queensland, Inspector Quinlan has served in general duties, criminal investigations, and specialist crime response roles before dedicating his career to improving policing responses for vulnerable Queenslanders. Inspector Quinlan is committed to strengthening partnerships between police, health, and community sectors to deliver effective, person-centred responses when they are needed most.
