This 2-hour, online session is via Zoom for staff working across CHSP &/or supporting older people in community care. You are required to have attended Part 1 module - LGBTI+ Awareness Training - Foundations (or previous Val's training).
This session is not LGBTI+ awareness information but will introduce &/or develop/foster LGBTI+ inclusion & actions & will cover the following:
An overview of sector requirements, diversity/inclusive practice frameworks, reforms relating to LGBTI+ inclusion
Information about LGBTI+ inclusion, right-based, person-centred, culturally safety & trauma informed care
Tools & frameworks to build & demonstrate LGBTI+ inclusive care & support
Opportunities to workshop LGBTI+ actions in relation to your care environment and/or role.
This session is CHSP SSD funded, & is appropriate for CHSP/community care staff. Note: a max. of 4 staff per org. per session.
