COTA Queensland recently participated in the Accessible Features Icons and Descriptors Project led by the Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), contributing feedback to help shape practical resources supporting accessible and inclusive housing.

Delivered through QDN’s Small Changes, Big Difference campaign in partnership with the Department of Housing and Public Works, the project highlights how simple home modifications and accessible design features can improve safety, independence and quality of life.

COTA Queensland welcomed the project’s strong co-design approach, bringing together people with lived experience alongside housing and real estate stakeholders to support more inclusive communities for people with disability and older Queenslanders.
