Older Women's Network celebrated International Day for Older Persons 2021 with Linda Burney (who was then a shadow minister) in conversation with Caroline Baum discussing issues related to ageism and what happens when we age.
Linda Burney was the first Indigenous woman to be elected to federal parliament and has long been an advocate for social justice. Linda talked about ageism form her perspective and how elders are respected in indigenous culture.
