Older Women’s Network celebrated International Day of Older Persons 2021 with Linda Burney (who was then a shadow minister) in conversation with Caroline Baum discussing issues related to ageism and what happens when we age.
Linda Burney was the first Indigenous woman to be elected to the House of Representatives and has long been an advocate for social justice. Linda talked about ageism from her perspective and how Elders are respected in Indigenous culture.
