Safe and inclusive aged care for Forgotten Australians/Care Leavers

The aim of this report is to provide a series of recommendations for aged care providers about how to improve the safety and accessibility of their services for Forgotten Australians / Care Leavers.

This report is the result of a collaboration between Flinders University, Helping Hand, and the Alliance for Forgotten Australians.

It outlines evidence-based, trauma-informed recommendations to help aged care providers create respectful, safe and accessible aged care environments that recognise the unique needs and lived experiences of Forgotten Australians and Care Leavers as they age.
