As part of the program, the person living with dementia is offered an introduction to dementia respite and receives tailored, individual support to continue meaningful and enjoyable activities for longer. Staying at Home is offered in the following ways:
Two-night retreat for carers and people living with dementia
Relaxed, resort-style setting with meals and accommodation provided
Focus on respite, peer connection and practical dementia care strategies
This immersive program provides carers with expert guidance on managing dementia-related changes while prioritising their own wellbeing. The small, supportive environment allows carers to share experiences, build confidence and access respite whilst learning how to help their loved one stay at home longer.
